We at the Comus Group of Companies are excited to offer the RI-80 SMDM series of surface-mount reed switches. These high-quality reed switches are ideal for proximity sensors and medical applications.

The RI-80 SMDM series uses the Comus Technology B.V. (Coto Technology®) reed switches with sputtered ruthenium contacts for high reliability and long life. The RI-80 SMDM switches are Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) dry reed switches, with normally open contacts, and two magnetically actuated reeds. The switches could be actuated by an electromagnet, a permanent magnet, or a combination of both. They are available in industry-standard Gull Wing and J-Bend lead configurations.
